Elementary and Middle School Schedules
Elementary and Middle School Schedules
McCool Elementary Middle School consists of approximately 6200 preschool through fifth grade students and approximately 230 sixth through eighth grade students.
In addition to regular classroom subjects, all of our elementary students rotate through a five day schedule of special classes, including art, music, Chamorro culture and two days of physical education. Our elementary students in grades Kindergarten through third grade also receive Spanish language instruction 90 minutes a week.
Our middle school operates on a two-day block schedule. All students must take the core subjects of language arts, math, social studies and science. All students are required to take two wheels of quarter classes, and all middle school students have the opportunity to take two sets of electives.
Both the elementary and middle school days begin at 8:15 AM and end at 2:45 PM . Both sets of students have a 20 minute lunch followed by a 20 minute midday break.
